Privacy Policy

This policy explains what AGE Pilot Academy (the “Service”) collects about you, why, and who else sees it. The Service is the online classroom for the FAA Part 107 course, operated by Anderson Global Enterprises (“we,” “us”).

Three things we do not do. We do not record your voice or use your microphone. We do not ask for or process any payment. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

1. What we collect

Your account: email address and password. You can also sign in with a one-time link sent to your email.
Your name and cohort, so your instructor knows whose work is whose.
Your coursework: which lessons you have opened, your quiz and exam answers, your scores, and whether you passed.
A quiz focus signal. While a quiz is open, the Service records when you switch away from the quiz window. Your instructor can see this. It exists to keep the exam honest, and we are telling you plainly because you would not otherwise expect it.
Attendance: the class date and the time you checked in.
Notes you write in the app, and anything you post to the class Community area, including replies and any image you attach.
Practice statistics used to pick your next questions and to show your weak areas.
Endorsements your instructor issues, including the instructor’s certificate number.
Browser notification details, only if you turn class reminders on.
Basic technical logs needed to keep the Service running and secure.

2. Why we collect it

To teach the course and to let your instructor see how you are doing: deliver lessons, grade quizzes, unlock the next module, track attendance, show your progress and weak areas, send you course email and reminders, and keep the Service working.

3. Who else sees it

Your instructor sees your coursework, scores, attendance, notes-to-instructor, quiz focus signal, and Community posts. That is the point of the classroom.

Other students see only what you choose to post in the Community area. Your scores are never shown to other students.

Service providers below process your data only to make the Service work. We do not sell your information, and we share it outside this list only where the law requires it.

4. Your school records

This course is offered through a College Now program at York College. The records created here — your scores, attendance, and progress — are course records tied to your enrollment, and York College’s own policies for student education records apply to them. If you have a question about your records, or want to see or correct something, start with your instructor or the College.

5. If you are under 18

Some students in this course are under 18, and it is worth being clear about what that does and does not change. Under the federal student-records rule, the rights over these records become yours once you are attending a college program — reaching 18 is one way to get there, and enrolling in a postsecondary course is another. Because this course is offered through York College, that means these are your records and these rights are yours, whatever your age.

A parent or guardian is still welcome to contact us with a question, and we will help — we will just involve you and the College rather than going around you. If your high school also keeps its own record of this course, that record belongs to the school and its own rules apply to it, not this policy.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your coursework for the duration of the course and afterward as part of the course record, so that scores and endorsements can be confirmed later. If you want your information removed, email us at anderson.omar@andersonglobalenterprises.net and we will handle it within 30 days and tell you what was removed. Some records may need to be kept where York College’s policies or the law require it — if that applies to anything you ask about, we will say so specifically rather than leave you guessing.

7. Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
Ask us to delete it, subject to the section above.
Turn browser reminders off at any time.
Delete your own Community posts.

8. Security

Your connection is encrypted, sign-in is required for every page that shows your work, and access to the database is restricted. No system is perfectly secure. If something involving your information does go wrong, we will tell you what happened, what was affected, and what to do — within the time the law requires.

9. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change materially affects what we collect or who sees it, we will tell the class directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
